Microbial Research
The Microbial Research is involved with research on transmission dynamics, epidemiology, pathophysiology, pathogenesis, microbial ecology, and host immune response to microbial pathogens. Development of diagnostic tools and study of clinicopathological features of zoonotic microbial zoonotic diseases will also be pursued.
RESEARCH AGENDA
- Detection and characterization of zoonotic microbial pathogens using various techniques
- Various researches on transmission dynamics, epidemiology, pathophysiology, pathogenesis, microbial ecology, and host immune responses to zoonotic microbial pathogens
- Development of optimized sampling approach and laboratory procedures or diagnostic tools for the detection of microbial pathogens
- Determination of genetic basis of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)
