Epidemiology and Data Science

The Epidemiology and Data Science Division conducts field surveys, sample collection, and disease surveillance of both domestic and wild animal populations. Research agendas include identification of potential sources of zoonotic pathogens, investigation of spillover events, and epidemiology and transmission dynamics of zoonotic diseases within the human population.
