Animal Research Unit
The Animal Research Unit is mandated to raise animals intended for research use of the Program. This includes small laboratory animals such as mice, rats, and rodents; medium-sized animals such as dogs, cats, and poultry; and large animals for specialized research such as cattle, swine, and other animals as deemed necessary.
